“The unusual desk top gadgets and USB toys we carry, appeal to a diverse audience, but most of our clientele would consider themselves “geeky” or they are purchasing gifts for their “geek” friends,” says Vice President, Jeff Mosher.
“We created this site for our consumers. In fact, many of our customers played a significant role in the design and development of the site. Their input has helped us shift our branding strategy toward the tech-savvy, lap top toting, caffeine addict.
Previously, we primarily targeted office professionals – the type that is often so busy, their coffee grows moldy in their break room coffee pot. While these professionals still represent a good portion of our consumer base, we want to make sure that we’re also catering to our consumers who don’t necessarily work in a traditional office setting,” states FunUSB founder Mark Scheidt. “We want to help bring FUN back to work and we think we can with our cool desk top toys.”
The new site design is much more consumer friendly. Not only can guests search through a variety of USB powered devices, but each product is fully described with fantastic photos. For further product insight, the descriptions include consumer product reviews and ratings.
With this new platform in place, FunUSB is looking forward to featuring a new line of USB products in the coming months.
“We are anxious to unveil our new line of geeky gifts and funny gadgets. We expect to have them added to our site in time for holiday shopping,” added Mosher. “These changes are really just the beginning for us.
